FAQs

Tattoos typically hurt less than expected when done properly. The process can be uncomfortable (a little stingy) but single needle tattoos are often very tolerable. Small tattoos are completed quickly, and numbing can be available if needed.
-
You can get very small tattoos with very thin lines if that is what is desired! You can probably go smaller than you think (if that is what you want of course). Single Needle Technique: We utilize the single needle technique, which allows for fine lines and detailed artwork that stands out, resulting in tattoos that are truly works of art.
-
Tattoos are very safe, as long as each artist and the entire studio adheres to both Universal Precautions and Blood Borne Pathogen Safety Standards. At The Little Ink Shop this is always a top priority and we are committed to client safety.
-
The following conditions may prevent you from being tattooed :
Pregnancy, blood disorders, skin disease, medications that thin skin (medically necessary), chemotherapy, radiation, sunburn, age (must be over 18).

The non-refundable tattoo deposit secures your appointment date & time so no other client can book during that time. A deposit is required before custom artwork can begin being designed.

In most cases we can not cover existing tattoos.
Our tattoos are much finer and more delicate than traditional tattoos which makes a cover up difficult.
In some cases, we will touchup or add to existing work. If you would like to check about your existing tattoo please email alexandra@thelittleinkshop.com with a photo and description of what you have now.
-
A tattoo minimum is in place to cover expenses, tray set up, sanitization, supplies, and time put in to drawing/designing the tattoo.
This means all tattoo prices will start at $75.
Touchups are not subject to a tattoo minimum as long as proper aftercare has been followed.
-
All tattoos can require touchups over time to look their best. Single needle tattoos may need more frequent touchups due to the delicate nature of the tattoo.
Tattoos on hands and feet will require the most amount of touchup work over time.
